Hayes FM

On Friday, 10th January, Roy 311 was invited to do an interview with Sylvia Smith on Hayes FM.
Sylvia is keen to interview a number of charities that are supporting the local community.
The interview took place in the caretakers house at Rosedale College  – the temporary residence of Hayes FM while their usual location is being renovated.
Roy was asked about the early beginnings of the branch, how it has changed over the years, the qualities needed to become a volunteer and the commitment of a volunteer, funding and our work in the community.
He also mentioned our information days, the Ruby Appeal and being a support volunteer.
Roy finished with the poem “Listening”, which is sometimes used in training.
